The terms of using StatementPro.

1. Who we are and what this covers

StatementPro is operated by AX Studio Labs Ltd (Company No. 17076527), a company registered in England and Wales (“we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the StatementPro website and application (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

2. The Service

StatementPro converts uploaded bank statement PDFs into structured data (Excel and CSV) and derived analytics. The Service uses a combination of deterministic extraction and AI-assisted processing. We may add, change, or remove features over time. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may carry out maintenance that temporarily limits access.

3. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate account information. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Paid team plans allow a defined number of seats; you are responsible for the conduct of all users you invite to your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and only with documents you own or are authorised to process. You must not upload material you have no right to process, attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service, circumvent usage limits or access controls, or use the Service to build a competing product. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of this section.

5. Subscriptions, billing and cancellation

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis through our payment processor, Stripe. Usage allowances (pages and, on team plans, seats) are set out on our pricing page and apply per billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You may cancel at any time from Account Settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain access until then. We may change our prices on reasonable notice, with changes applying from your next renewal.

If you downgrade a team plan, any team members above your new plan’s seat limit are retained until you remove them; you cannot add new members until you are within the limit of your current plan.

6. Your data

Our handling of the data you upload and the personal data we hold is described in our Security & Data Handling statement and Privacy Policy, which form part of these Terms. You retain all rights in the documents and data you upload. You grant us a limited licence to process that content solely to provide the Service to you.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by AX Studio Labs Ltd and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service. The structured output generated from your own documents is yours to use freely.

8. Accuracy and no professional advice

StatementPro is a data-conversion and analytics tool. While we work to maximise extraction accuracy, automated processing can produce errors or omissions, and you are responsible for reviewing and verifying all output before relying on it. The Service does not provide accounting, tax, legal, lending, or financial advice, and its output must not be treated as such. Any decisions you make based on output from the Service are made at your own risk.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under English law. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, revenue, or data; and our total liability arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to the total fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Account Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or where required by law. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; data deletion is handled as set out in our Security & Data Handling statement.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Where changes are material, we will give reasonable notice by email or in-app. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with them.
