About StatementPro.
StatementPro turns UK bank statement PDFs into clean, reconciled spreadsheets and accounting-software import files, and tells you plainly when a statement can't be checked.
Updated 20 October 2026
What it does
Upload a bank statement PDF and StatementPro extracts every transaction — date, description, reference, money in, money out and running balance — into Excel or CSV, or into a file laid out for importing into Xero, QuickBooks, FreeAgent or Sage.
Before you get a file, the transactions are checked against the statement's own printed totals and running balance. A statement that ties is marked as reconciled; one that doesn't, or that can't be checked (for example, a transaction list with no balances), says so. It never claims a statement is verified when it isn't.
Which banks
Any UK bank statement PDF. HSBC, first direct, Lloyds, Revolut, Starling, Tide and Allica have purpose-built readers that read the statement's text directly. Every other bank is read by AI and checked the same way. Scanned or photographed statements are read too, and marked for a closer look because digits can be misread from an image.
Who it's for
Accountants and bookkeepers catching up on records or working on periods a bank feed doesn't cover; mortgage and finance brokers checking affordability; and legal and property professionals who receive statements from clients.

Your data
The statement PDF is not kept after conversion. The extracted transactions are stored in London (AWS eu-west-2) so you can re-download them, for 90 days by default or a year if you choose that at sign-up, and you can delete any conversion or your whole account yourself at any time. Statement contents are not used to train AI models.
